SUPPORT SERVICES
Environmental Services
The cleanliness of the Mennonite Nursing Home is evident as you walk through the front doors of our Home. Our skilled staff are continually working together with all Departments and Residents to provide a clean, comfortable and safe living and working environment.
The Environmental Services Department also includes all the janitorial duties that play an important part in maintaining a fresh and inviting home. Our Environmental Services Staff spends much of their day communicating with our Residents as they go on with their daily duties.
Laundry Services
The Laundry Services Department is responsible for laundering of all clothing and linens at the Mennonite Nursing Home using their commercial laundry machines seven days a week. This daily laundry totals over 250,000 pounds in one year. The Laundry Staff is also responsible for the distribution of all clean clothing to the resident rooms. This allows the staff and residents daily opportunity to build relationships and interact with one another.
The laundry staff will make minor clothing repairs.
The laundry staff is always open to meeting with or talking to the family support person regarding any clothing needs for their special resident. The experienced staff is more than willing to help in recommending clothing styles, accessing specialty clothing or recommending fabric types that are most suited for commercial laundry care.
