FOOD SERVICES
The Mennonite Nursing Home is known for its nutritious home cooked meals. This department serves meals to three separate dining rooms and prepares nutrition and beverage carts for distribution to the residents three times daily between meal times. For a fee, meals are also provided for staff and visitors. Visitors are welcome to join their special resident for a meal providing adequate notice is given.
Special events such as log cabin dinners, wiener roasts, summer BBQ’s, fall suppers, Christmas dinners, pancake breakfasts are all highlights for our residents who live at the Mennonite Nursing Home. Special meals are prepared for those residents who require specific diets.
It is required at the Mennonite Nursing Home that Food Services Staff hold a certificate in Safe Food Handling.
