Sunrise Place

Sunrise Place -Personal Care Home-

Sunrise Place was established by the Conference of Mennonites of Saskatchewan (presently MC Sask.), and is dedicated to providing enriched housing which is comfortable and affordable within a secure stimulating Christian/Spiritual atmosphere.

Sunrise Place is a personal care dwelling with single and double occupancies available and is staffed 24 hours a day. All applicants must be able to live independently.

Air conditioning, television, and internet services are supplied to each suite.

All personal care as needed is provided by Sunrise staff, meals are provided for all residents by the Nursing Home. Housekeeping and Laundry Services are also provided. A fee is charged for marking the clothes.

Please note that scooters are not permitted.

Beautiful Country Setting

The Mennonite Youth Farm Complex which encompasses the Mennonite Nursing Home, Pineview Manor, Country Gardens and Sunrise Place, is nestled among the pines on peaceful, sprawling grounds across the highway from the sleepy little valley town of Rosthern.

Recreational Activities

Residents are welcomed to join daily activities taking place in the Mennonite Nursing Home as they are able. Seasonal, as well as daily, activities include devotional times, musical programs, bingo, bowling, monthly birthday parties, Sunday Worship Services, etc.

Additional Services

  • There is a guest room available in Pineview Manor for a nominal fee for guests.
  • Guests may eat meals any time with residents in the dining room for a reasonable cost. Please notify Sunrise staff in advance.

Community Volunteers

The canteen in Pineview Manor is run by volunteers. Volunteers are very welcome in the other areas as well, please contact the Mennonite Nursing Home.

To reach the Personal Care Home by phone, call 232-4888 and ask to be transferred to Sunrise Place. (Ext #225)
